About the ASCVD Risk Estimator

The ACC/AHA Pooled Cohort Equations estimate 10-year risk of a first atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) event, including heart attack and stroke. Developed from multiple large cohort studies, it's the primary tool for guiding statin therapy decisions in the US.
