Find coterminal angles and the principal angle (0° to 360°) for any given angle.
Coterminal angles are angles that share the same terminal side when in standard position (vertex at origin, initial side on positive x-axis).
To find coterminal angles, add or subtract full rotations (360° or 2π radians):
Angles that end at the same position on the unit circle. They differ by multiples of 360° (or 2π radians).
Divide the angle by 360° and take the remainder. If negative, add 360° to get a positive angle between 0° and 360°.
Since they end at the same point on the unit circle, the (x, y) coordinates are identical, so all trig function values are equal.
